Show the working
- 1 V = 1e-6 MV
- 1 × 1e-6 = 1e-6 MV
How to convert volts to megavolts
1 V = 1 × 10⁻⁶ MV, so multiply by 1 to go from volts to megavolts. Going the other way, 1 MV = 1,000,000 V.
MV = V × 1 V = MV × 1,000,000
Worked example:
1 V = 1e-6 MV 5 × 1e-6 = 5e-6 MV
