How to convert kilovolts to microvolts

1 kV = 1,000,000,000 µV, so multiply by 1,000,000,000 to go from kilovolts to microvolts. Going the other way, 1 µV = 1 × 10⁻⁹ kV.

µV = kV × 1,000,000,000
kV = µV × 1

Worked example:

1 kV = 1000000000 µV
5 × 1000000000 = 5000000000 µV
