Show the working
  1. 1 Wh = 1e-6 MWh
  2. 1 × 1e-6 = 1e-6 MWh

How to convert watt-hours to megawatt-hours

1 Wh = 1 × 10⁻⁶ MWh, so multiply by 1 to go from watt-hours to megawatt-hours. Going the other way, 1 MWh = 1,000,000 Wh.

MWh = Wh × 1
Wh = MWh × 1,000,000

Worked example:

1 Wh = 1e-6 MWh
5 × 1e-6 = 5e-6 MWh
