  2. 1 × 0.1 = 0.1 kPa

How to convert millibars to kilopascals

1 mbar = 0.1 kPa, so multiply by 0.1 to go from millibars to kilopascals. Going the other way, 1 kPa = 10 mbar.

kPa = mbar × 0.1
mbar = kPa × 10

Worked example:

1 mbar = 0.1 kPa
5 × 0.1 = 0.5 kPa
