How to convert microseconds to nanoseconds

1 µs = 1,000 ns, so multiply by 1,000 to go from microseconds to nanoseconds. Going the other way, 1 ns = 0.001 µs.

ns = µs × 1,000
µs = ns × 0.001

Worked example:

1 µs = 1000 ns
5 × 1000 = 5000 ns
